evolution

I can feel a change in my personality coming up. Perhaps some part of Darwin’s theory of evolution is turning out to be true for me. And Herbert Spencer‘s phrase, “survival of the fittest” is making more and more sense now.

What to say and what not to say. When to say what. When to act and pretend. And when, honesty IS the best policy and when it is not.  … Living to survive in the corporate world is not easy.
It is so easy to react naturally but it takes guts to control and act with patience. I am still learning. … perhaps I have just started.

Life seemed so easy back then when I graduated from FAST-NU. Experience has proven me wrong.

Perhaps, I had a very strong connection with The King back then. Perhaps, I  have lost the strength of that connection now. Perhaps, its time for me to reconnect.

    Just a comment:

Talking about the connection with The King.

I always had a feeling that The King was listening to me always, but obviously cannot give every decision in my favour, which i understood.

But my experience in europe and their society is tearing all my values and norms that I have believed in for so many years now.

Compared to past, I think I try even harder to make the connection, but its like there are no signals over here.

I feel back in FAST-NU, Pakistan life was easy as the environment favoured you, but in reality, you can only test yourself in unfavourable environemnt.

I might not agree with the honesty thing (as it is the best policy as far as I think) but ‘what’, ‘when’, ‘how’ , ‘what not’…I do agree!

Waisey on a lighter note I would say that even in those days when u had a strong connection the The King I felt that u lack these things though that was in some other context…but this is nice that capitalist corporate world is making u learn good things ;)

To Salman Qayyum: :) cheque only bounces when there is nothing in the bank account.

To Anonymous: I was refering to my Immortal Lord; communication with Whom is made with gadgets of their own kind.

To Yaser: you know me better than I know myself dude.

To Ch0c0: Do you remember the term ‘tooriya’… something which is neither exactly honest nor exactly dishonest. Also, take it this way: Instead of not being honest, being quiet is much better.
…. life did not seem that tough & complicated back then.
